Holiday work

I went to changi south business park to work for one month at kwe which was my 5th warehouse job experience. Although i tried work at many warehouse, i find this air-conditioned warehouse good but there were still lack of something. I met friendly auntie and one of a greatly English educated uncle who is very knowledgeable, i learned many real life examples from him, i would never forgot this visit to there. Other than the worker, there was a manager, i find him odd as he does not like listened to other people suggestion, he followed his own decision even if he was wrong. I have never seen such manager before in my life. Finally i shall tell in what they are lack of which is communication, for a warehouse to work efficiently, communication skill is an essential.

Hunt is on for radioactive mouse

US authorities are on the hunt for a radioactive mouse living in the grounds of a historic nuclear weapon production plant.

Radioactive mouse droppings were discovered in the grounds of the Hanford nuclear plant in Washington state.

It comes two weeks after a radioactive rabbit was captured on the same site, reports the Tri-City Herald.

Hanford workers have set about 60 mouse traps, but the two mice that have been caught so far were not contaminated.

The mouse and rabbit droppings were found in the same area, leading contractors who are cleaning up the area to believe that the animals ate or drank a common source of radioactive contamination.

The Washington State Department of Health said it does not believe there is any danger to the public.

Hanford reactors produced plutonium for the US nuclear weapons program from 1944 to 1987, including the world's first nuclear bomb and the Fat Man bomb detonated over Nagasaki, Japan.

Workers are now involved in a massive project to clean up the billions of gallons of liquid waste and millions of tons of solid waste created by the transformation of raw uranium into plutonium for bombs.

Why is does such things really exist is the world. It is kind of scary if you see a radioactive animal in front of you.

A Peace Talk at SMU

Yesterday i went to SMU to have a talk about human beings around the world are getting separated from their potential ability. This is due to the developing of economy as technology involves and people are not following their natural desires. Such as when a printer is defected, you could easily sent it to the service center to repair while when a child is defected by technology such as computer which attracts the child to surf online for long hours, you can't do much about it but to teach the child to be more sensible. Nowadays plastic surgery are common because people can easily go to hospital to check whether they have nice shape of their figure unlike the past. People are now living in a fake world which they are deeply influence by the society, educations and many other things. In education, the study system of Singapore lets people to think that the more you the study the more talented you are but this is wrong, students are studying in a wrong way. People are now unable to explore their hidden potential due the world.
I have learnt a lot things and enjoyed this lecture given by the professor.

Film: Chicken a la Carte

What is your initial reaction after watching the clip? I feel pitiful for this people as they does not have a proper meal to eat everyday. They have to eat the leftover food which is left over by the customer in the restaurants. This leftover food is very unhygienic and they still have to eat and feed their whole family, this may cause spread of diseases and having risk of getting sick. In many countries, there are also many people who died of malnutrition and starvation from hunger. The video also shows many customers from the restaurant wasting alot of precious food which i think they does not know how many people in the world died of hunger.

Think of three questions you have about the clip.

Which country does the video show?

Why the government of the did not give aides these people from suffering?

Why does the people there waste so many food?

Try to provide some answers to your questions.

Maybe this video show is about our neighbor countries Philippines or Indonesia.

Maybe the country is too poor to provide aid to these people.

Maybe many people there take things for granted as they are selfish and they care about themselves only.
